Life as a beginner Prescatarian and blue suede shoes...

I'm coming up on my third month as a prescatarian (someone who only eats fish along with the other foods, just not meat) and it's going alright. I'm really trying to make this a life style change. It can be hard sometimes with 3 other family members the eat meat and continually question why I chose not to eat it anymore. And I'll even tell you guys why I stopped eating meat.....because I want to. Seriously, that's it. Because I wanted to. Nothing more, nothing less. And yet this seems to boggle peoples minds.....it seems as if they are searching for some deeper meaning that isn't there. But anyway, here is the negative and the positive parts:
  • Negative-sometimes food has hidden meat in it...or meat-ish things in it. And if I were to accidentally eat a piece of meat, I would be really upset and would have to start my count over again :(
  • Positive-I eat healthier and as a result have lost weight! :)
So yeah, overall, I like being a prescatarian. It's worth it.

True Blood is back on!! Woot woot, and Eric is looking as fine as always. Alexander Skarsgard is one very good looking man. You can check out this website dedicated to him. The rest of the cast is good looking as well............but he's just the apple of my eye on the show! And if you've someone how managed not knowing what True Blood is about then SHAME ON YOU lol. I'm not going to tell you either, google it. ;)

Hatsune Miku and Fashionista Youtubers...

Alright so a couple of days ago Michelle Phan put out another video and it was a preview of her Hatsune Miku tutorial (Hatsune Miku Tutorial Preview). I have never heard of this artist before she put her video up and now............I think I'm slightly enamored with her!! Hatsune Miku is a vocaloid pop star from Japan. A vocaloid is basically a singing synthesizer application (Wikipedia). She even has concerts!! They make her into a hologram for her concerts.....which is kinda like paying to listen to the radio. I mean she's cute and everything on stage, but that's basically what you're paying for! Here's a link to one of her concerts. Hatsune Miku Concert Oh, this is what she looks like.  Cute right?

So enough Hatsune Miku, I want to tell you guys about thefashioncitizen and LWEEandStyle on YouTube. While on my daily hunt to find fashion and style gurus, I came across these ladies. Thefashioncitizen is done by twin sisters Steph and Melissa. They offer DIYs in fashion and they take you thrift store shopping with them and they also do other things. They both have amazing style and I'm really looking forward to their videos. The next fashionista I want to mention is LWEEandstyle. Lwee offers outfits of just about everything from how to work a runway look to how to wear a certain item. I really like her videos as well (I mean, obviously)!

Hope you check them out if you haven't already!

Song of the Day: World is Mine by Hatsune Miku. You guys must have known it was going to be one of her  songs right?? Super catchy song. Electropop.

Quote of the Day: "Be who you are and say what you fell because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss I love this quote and and repeat it to myself everyday. I plan on getting a tattoo of this one day!

Until next time,

Style & Fashion...

This year for New Years (I know it was like 5 months or so ago), I vowed to dress the way I truly wanted and not worry about what other people think, and for the most part I have been doing that! Sometimes though, being in a small town it's hard because of the people you think are judging you. Where I'm from people stare way to much in general and to think if I dressed the way I really wanted to everyday....wow I'd probably never want to walk outside...not to mention I hate being stared at for anything. But I'm going to change that and STOP caring so much what others think or where their eyes wonder, starting NOW. And while I do believe it is important to care about what others think (to a certain degree), you should NEVER let it control nor consume your life!! In short, I'm gonna do me no matter what. :)

Song of the Day: Wonderful by Gary Go. I first heard this song via my sister and have listened to it ever since. Please check this song out! It's, well, wonderful lol!! It's one of those feel good songs.

Question of the Day: Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair, if Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, then why did Fuzzy Wuzzy have no hair?

Disappointment...

Today, someone very close to me said they thought being homosexual was a sin. Being the person I am (fighting for gay rights and striving to make a difference), I was really shocked and disappointed in this person. It was like a slap in the face to be honest. I guess I just thought we were on the same wave length-clearly not. But even though our opinions are different on this subject, I still respect them.I'm not one of those people whose is rude and disrespectful to someone who has different opinion than mine.

Anywaysss, here are some things coming up that I'm excited about!
  • My Art Appreciation class is over this Thursday!
  • I'll be working this weekend which means I'll have money!

Song of the Day: Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis. I first heard this song on the Butterfly Effect...fell in love with it ever since.
